My biggest initiative is “learning to excel in my new role”.
Finding confidence in the value I add by being a manager more than a “doer” and getting more comfortable with delegation to my new assistant.
My 2nd biggest initiative is taking more of a leadership role across the team as it relates to our due diligence processes – drafting ideas from scratch rather than waiting for someone else to create that first rough draft.
And finally I have a “back to basics role”, not letting my executive’s calendar fall neglected while I prioritize other things.
Kind of hard to explain in writing. I had a hard time writing these. Lets get together soon and chat about them!
